You are hereby summoned to attend the Parish Council Meeting to be held at The Village Hall, Baker Hades Road, Letwell S81 8DE on Wendesday 21 may 2025 at 7:30pm

A period of 15 minutes will be available for members of the public to comment on any matter prior to the start of the meeting.

 

Agenda 

To appoint a Chairperson for the ensuing year.

  1. The Chairperson to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office
  2. Receive apologies and approve reasons for absence.
  3. To appoint a Vice-Chairperson for the ensuing year.
  4. Receive declarations of interest in respect of items on the agenda and approve requests for dispensation (if any).
  5. Consider & agree confidential agenda items.
  6. To approve the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting dated 27 March 2025
  7. Clerk to report any matters arising from the previous minutes and actions taken:

  • Speeding in the village
  1. Financial Matters

a) Confirmation of VAT claim

b) Receive bank account balances as at 1 May 2025

c) Receive Bank Reconciliation to 30 April 2025

d) Agree Schedule of Payments (herewith).

e) Review system of internal controls/internal audit

10.      Review and approve the following policies/documents (herewith):

a) Standing Orders

b) Financial Regulations

c) Council Risk Assessment

d) Publication Scheme

e) Asset Register

f) GDPR Documents inc GDPR Information Audit, Staff & Councillor Privacy Notice & Subject Access Policy  

g) Scheme of Delegation

11.     To receive information on the following issues and decide further action, where necessary:

          a) Consider & approve Village Hall Keyholder & Barperson Policies (herewith)

          b) Consider provision of lockers at the side of the bus shelter.

          c) Consider ‘Community Payback’ for litter picking

 

12.      Consider Planning Applications - None received

13.     Receive Planning Determinations –
